Manchester United have 'enquired' over a move to sign Real Madrid no.2 Andriy Lunin in the coming weeks, according to reports - with the Red Devils on the lookout for a new goalkeeper should Andre Onana depart this summer in what continues to be a shake-up at the Theatre of Dreams.
United saw Onana and Altay Bayindir both struggle between the sticks at times last season, recording their worst-ever Premier League campaign before losing the Europa League final to miss out on any form of European football next season. That could see them opt for a new stopper and Lunin is in their sights.

The report by DefensaCentral states that Lunin is currently considering several offers to leave Real Madrid, despite having renewed his contract in September - one which came with the premise of analysing his future at the end of the campaign.

The possibility of moving to United has arisen, with the problem at present being the amount of how much money the deal will cost the Red Devils - but they are an interested party. United are open to the sale of Onana, sparking interest from AS Monaco, and as such United are looking at a goalkeeper. Other targets have seemingly lucrative offers from elsewhere, and so that has led to interest from the Red Devils.
The club have reportedly made enquiries to super agent Jorge Mendes for Lunin's signature, but they don't want to pay more than €15million (£12.6milllion) for the Ukraine stopper - a 'far cry' from the €25million (£21.1million) that the La Liga giants are demanding.
Labelled as a goalkeeper of 'elite character'', especially after filling in for Thibaut Courtois in the Belgian's campaign that was dogged by injury, Lunin would be an ideal addition for the Old Trafford outfit - and his winning credentials would be welcome for Ruben Amorim to work with.
Lunin has made 62 appearances for Real in the past five seasons, including a career-best 31 in the 2023/24 campaign, but he will want first-team football - which he would get at United should Onana depart in the coming weeks after a catalogue of errors between the sticks.
