According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Kevin Durant has been traded to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in the 2025 draft and five second-round picks.
The Houston Rockets, according to multiple reports, were one of Kevin Durant’s preferred trade destinations this summer.
Durant, the 2014 NBA MVP and four-time scoring champion, is entering the final year of his contract in the 2025–26 season.
Despite being in the later stages of his career, he remains highly productive, averaging 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game this past season.
The Rockets now look like legitimate championship contenders in the Western Conference, with their core players - Alperen Sengun, Amen Thompson, Fred VanVleet, and Jabari Smith Jr. - all remaining intact after the trade.
