Fer Lopez is officially a Wolves player – and the Spaniard can’t wait to get started.
The youngster completed his move from Celta Vigo on Friday, becoming Wolves’ first addition of the summer window.
Fer Lopez only made his debut for Celta towards the backend of last year. But his quick progression led to interest from Wolves, who were able to tie up a deal fairly quickly in the end.
Fans are excited to watch Lopez in action.
Lopez is reminiscent of Riyad Mahrez in the way he plays, so fans can hopefully look forward to some nice footwork and close ball control operating in that right 10 position.
With Pablo Sarabia having left Wolves, the hope is that Lopez will be able to provide some of the output that Wanderers have just lost with his fellow countryman.
Lopez has talked up Jorgen Strand Larsen since signing for the club, as Wolves obviously landed the Norwegian from Celta as well.
He’s excited to link up with Wolves’ number nine, but there are also two other players he’s very keen to play with.

Naturally, Lopez is very keen to play alongside Strand Larsen.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
He’s a number 10, so he will be in and around him on the pitch and hopefully supplying him with plenty of through balls.
But Lopez also knows that Wolves have other quality players.
And when asked for who he is looking forward to playing alongside, other than Strand Larsen, Lopez picked out Wolves’ midfield duo of Andre and Joao Gomes.
He said: “Well all of the team. But I like the two Brazilians in midfield in the middle, because I’ve watched games and I think they’re going to help me a lot.
“In terms of passes in those areas and they have spaces where you can turn.”
Lopez also stated that he has already met Toti Gomes, while on holiday in Mykonos with Strand Larsen.
Giving his first impression of Wolves’ number 23, he said: “Big guy, eh! Massive!”
Fer Lopez will fit in brilliantly at Wolves
The videos that Wolves put out when new players come to Compton are always fascinating.
And it has to be said, Lopez comes across fantastically well in the video Wolves have released of his first day.
The youngster’s English is brilliant, having previously spent some time in Suffolk, and there is a real charm and confidence about him.
Wolves are very big on signing the right characters for the dressing room, and Lopez gives off the vibe that he will be a popular figure.
Hopefully, he will settle at Molineux as quickly as possible and that £19.5 million transfer fee will end up looking cheap.
