Here’s a transfer rumor reheated from the winter but still served fairly lukewarm, with L’Equipe again linking Chelsea to Randal Kolo Muani.
There are plenty of other teams linked with the 26-year-old striker, so this is little more than agents agenting, but the report (via GFFN) does claim that we “have entered into negotiations” with PSG.
Back in January, Kolo Muani would end up joining Juventus on loan, where he’s found a fair bit of success, scoring 10 goals in 20 appearances, including a brace against Al Ain at the Club World Cup earlier this week. That said, he’s achieved that in a rather streaky manner, scoring five times in his first three appearances, and now scoring five times in his last six appearances in all competitions. He went ten games without scoring in between. Not ideal!
Juventus are hoping to get him back for a another loan next season, but obviously PSG would love to cash in and limit their losses on the ill-advised €80m transfer that brought the France international to PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023. They are reportedly looking for £50m, which seems rather optimistic.
