Manchester United have been in the market for new transfer targets since the start of the summer transfer window. This is because Ruben Amorim is looking to strengthen his squad ahead of the 2025-26 season – a season in which the Red Devils will be looking to finish higher than 15th, their finishing place last season.
United have succeeded in some of their pursuits so far this summer such as in their pursuit for Wolves striker Matheus Cunha – who became Manchester United’s first summer signing earlier on in the window.
Now, it has emerged through Italian source Gazzetta that Manchester United have re-entered the conversation to sign striker Moise Kean.
Ruben Amorim was reported earlier in the transfer window to be monitoring Kean’s situation but it looked like it was nothing more than just monitoring.
This judgement was further reinforced when Manchester United moved towards some of their other summer targets such as Bryan Mbeumo and Viktor Gyokeres.
However, with United now reported to be back in the conversation for the 25 year old, the possibility of seeing the striker in a Manchester United shirt has increased.
The Italian striker has impressed fans and pundits alike during the season through scoring 19 goals whilst also assisting on 3 occasions.
The striker also has a £45 million release clause that could be triggered by United if they want to sign the striker.
However, Ruben Amorim’s side are not the only side interested in the Italian player as there is also reported interest from the Saudi Pro League about the striker’s services.
If Manchester United were to sign the striker, they would be getting a striker who has the ability to score on a consistent basis and to perform under pressure.
Do you think Moise Kean could sign for the Red Devils or do you see him signing for another side?
