Shilo Sanders Takes Hilarious Jab at Shedeur Sanders Over Speeding Citation

Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie safety Shilo Sanders decided to take a slight jab at his former Colorado Buffaloes teammate and younger brother, Shedeur Sanders.

Shedeur Sanders, the Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback, was pulled over by a police officer earlier this week for speeding on the highway for the second time this month. He was given his first speeding citation on June 5 in Brunswick Hills, Ohio, for driving 91 miles per hour in a 65-mile-per-hour zone.

Shedeur Sanders was then stopped by a Strongsville (Ohio) police officer at 12:24 a.m. Tuesday for driving 101 in a 60-mile-per-hour zone. The officer's body cam footage shows Shedeur Sanders being questioned while sitting inside his black Dodge TRX pickup truck.

Shedeur Sanders now faces a $269 citation from the first encounter and a $250 fine for the second, or must fight the ticket in Strongsville Mayor’s court on July 3, according to an ESPN report from Thursday. The incidents prompted his older brother, Shilo Sanders, to make a joke in a recent video on his YouTube channel.

“I know we're out here in Tampa; we got to be careful crossing the street, especially if Shedeur’s out here,” Shilo Sanders said, referring to his brother’s recent legal troubles.

Shedeur Sanders has not responded to his brother’s remarks, but did respond to questions about his speeding citations.

“I made some wrong choices personally and can own up to them,” he said in a video picked up by NBC Sports reporter Mike Florio. “I made some, you know, not great choices. I learned.”
