Everton striker Youssef Chermiti has been linked with a loan exit this summer, with Stoke City and Sheffield United said to be keen.
The Portuguese striker moved to Goodison Park back in 2023 from Sporting CP.
However, Chermiti has battled multiple injury issues at Everton and has failed to become a first-team regular.

Chermiti is not close to joining Stoke City
Africa Foot claimed on 21 June that the Toffees striker was close to joining Stoke City on a season-long loan.
They also stated that Preston North End, Sheffield United and Oxford United wanted to sign the 21-year-old.

However, a high-ranking staff member at the Merseyside club told the Liverpool Echo (22 June) that there was no truth to these rumours.

As things stand, a move for Chermiti is not understood to be imminent.

Everton must consider loaning Chermiti out
Loaning Chermiti out for the 2025/26 season would be a strategic move for Everton, benefiting both the player and the club.
At 21, the Portuguese striker has shown promise but has limited first-team experience, with only 24 appearances and no goals for Everton, alongside 22 games, three goals and two assists at Sporting CP.
A loan to a competitive club in the Championship or a mid-tier European league would provide regular playing time, crucial for his development.
This experience would hone his goal-scoring instincts, physicality, and decision-making, areas where he needs growth to thrive in the Premier League.
Everton’s current attacking options limit Chermiti’s minutes, risking stagnation, especially with a new striker expected to be the priority this summer.
By identifying suitable clubs this summer, the Toffees can ensure he returns more polished, ready to contribute or increase his market value, aligning with the club’s long-term squad planning under David Moyes.
