This camp was collaboratively organized by FIBA and the NBA, with oversight from players and coaches affiliated with both organizations.This event, recognized as the leading platform for identifying emerging talent in Asia and Oceania, drew 60 male and female athletes under the age of 17 from 17 different countries, showcasing the finest young talents who were meticulously selected through ongoing evaluation throughout the year.In this impressive gathering, Abdullah Yassin distinguished himself not only as Qatar's representative but also as the sole Arab participant in this edition. He embraced the responsibility of representing Arab basketball and emerged victorious, achieving an unprecedented milestone.From the outset of the camp, Abdullah captured attention with his exceptional skills, natural ability to read the game, and tenacity, which were evident during both training sessions and practice matches.The Qatari star demonstrated his capabilities when he took part in the three-point shooting competition, a key highlight of the camp. He surpassed 12 of the top competitors, successfully making 20 out of 25 shots in the final round, thereby earning a well-deserved first place. His excellence was not confined to shooting; it was also reflected in the outcomes of the rigorous physical assessments that the players underwent. The measurements indicated his ideal physical characteristics, with a height of 1.88 meters, an arm span nearing two meters, and a standing reach of 2.46 meters—figures that position him among the players who clearly exhibit physical superiority on the court.In the jumping tests, Abdullah recorded a vertical jump of 23 inches and a maximum vertical jump of 30 inches.
