Alejandro Garnacho is just one of many United players who is rumoured to be leaving Old Trafford this summer.

So far this summer transfer window, Ruben Amorim’s team have been recruiting largely in an attacking perspective. This can be seen through signing of Matheus Cunha as well as the targeting of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.

This has lead some United fans to believe that other current Manchester United players such as Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund could be on their way out of the club.

This belief has now been further strengthened through a snap of Alejandro Garnacho wearing an Aston Villa shirt which ironically has the name of ‘Rashford’ on the back.

This could be hinting at Garnacho’s inevitable departure from the club.

However, it could also just be an expression of the winger’s support for Marcus Rashford – who he may see as an inspiration given Rashford came through the Manchester United youth academy, just like Garnacho.

The 20 year old has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer. However, the destination of this move is uncertain just yet.

But, with Garnacho wanting to stay in England after the summer, it is most likely that the winger will play for a Premier League club next season.

This perspective was further strengthened last week due to a report by Fabrizio Romano that three Premier League sides were targeting Garnacho as a potential signing during the summer.

However, the names of these three sides were not revealed.

Wherever Garnacho goes next, his immense talent will give him a platform that he can build on. Furthermore, at just 20 years old, he holds a high level of potential that can be accessed to allow him to become an even better player than he is currently.
