Alejandro Garnacho has shown his support for Manchester United teammate Marcus Rashford - amid speculation over their respective futures - with a cryptic post on social media.

The Manchester Evening News understands that both forwards could be sold this summer. Rashford, 27, spent the second half of last season on loan with Premier League rivals Aston Villa.

While there, Rashford totted-up four goals and six assists from 17 games to claim back his England spot. However, the 62-cap international has no future at Old Trafford.

A permanent move has been inked in for the academy graduate. If that fails, he could leave once again on loan as speculation over Rashford - and indeed Garnacho - remains at fever pitch this summer.

Rashford did not merely return from Villa Park in better form, he also, seemingly, had a gift for Garnacho - who has now posted an eye-catching image on social media platform Instagram. In that picture, the Argentina starlet, 20, is seen wearing a Villa top with 'Rashford 9' printed on the back.

Garnacho is currently on holiday in Ibiza. Naturally, it drew plenty of attention far and wide on the internet.

Rashford, too, spotted the upload. In the comments section, he wrote: "My brother."

That reply was accompanied by a love heart emoji. The initial caption from Garnacho - who could also depart Old Trafford this summer - was a wordless one. He posted several photos from his holiday and it was the Rashford one that drew much attention as he walked between two sports cars.

Garnacho made 21 goal contributions in 58 games all-told last season. He too is an academy graduate, at least for the latter years of his ongoing development, after joining United from Atletico Madrid.
