Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the regular season and Finals Most Valuable Player, led game seven with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists. Meanwhile, Bennedict Mathurin led the Pacers with 24 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists.

By halftime, the Pacers led the game 48-47 by halftime, but were left without their star player Tyrese Haliburton after a serious injury in the first quarter forced him out of the game. His father, John Haliburton, confirmed to ESPN that the player suffered an injury to his Achilles tendon.
