Leeds United supporters can finally start to get excited about their side's return to the Premier League after the fixtures for the 2025/26 season were announced on Wednesday morning.
Daniel Farke's squad will kick-off the new campaign under the lights at Elland Road against Everton on Monday August 18. The Whites' first away game will be at the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal before Newcastle United then come to LS11.
And with transfer season in full force, Leeds have already moved to improve Farke's options. Lukas Nmecha has signed on a free transfer, with the attacker returning to England when his Wolfsburg contract expires.
More business is anticipated to happen with Udinese centre-back Jaka Bijol closing in on a move. Leeds may still add reinforcements in midfield and out wide before Everton visit Leeds in August.
If Leeds are going to do something the previous six promoted teams have failed to do and retain their spot in the Premier League, starting the season well could prove crucial - and three points in matchday one would be perfect.
Here, LeedsLive has taken a look at how the Whites could line-up to face the Toffees if they enjoy their dream summer between now and then.
Goalkeeper - Nick Pope
Another new goalkeeper has been tipped to move to Elland Road since Farke dropped Illan Meslier at the end of last season. Karl Darlow has Premier League experience, but the arrival of Pope would certainly strengthen Leeds' hopes of keeping the ball out of the back of the net as much as possible.
Newcastle's bid to sign James Trafford would spell the end of Pope's time in Eddie Howe's team.

Defenders: Jayden Bogle, Joe Rodon, Jaka Bijol, Quilindschy Hartman
Leeds conceding a hideous 78 goals in their last season in the Premier League - that can't happen again and a solid defence would ensure of that. Jayden Bogle and Joe Rodon led Farke's backline last season, deserving a chance this time around, too.
Bijol is close to becoming signing number two at Elland Road to bolster the heart of Leeds' defence. Junior Firpo's move to Real Betis leaves left-back open and there's been so many links.
But there's one player who hasn't been mentioned, which would still be a smart signing. Quilindschy Hartman was previously on the radar of Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle but no move materialised.
Feyenoord are now open to selling the 23-year-old, while Burnley have been the latest club to express an interest. Leeds could hijack the move and give Farke an attacking threat down the left.
Midfielders: Ethan Ampadu, Ao Tanaka, James McAtee
It's hard to see a world where Leeds ignore their Championship title winners after last season. Ethan Ampadu and Ao Tanaka are two solid defensive midfielders with the latter enjoying a terrific debut season in England.
The number ten role in Farke's system is instrumental in Leeds having success this season. James McAtee showed exactly what he can do for Manchester City in the second half of last term and is said to be available this summer.

Snapping the England Under-21s international up before Bayer Leverkusen get him would be massive. At only 22, the playmaker is inching for a breakthrough season in the Premier League - and it could be awaiting him at Elland Road.
Attackers: Daniel James, Wilfried Gnonto, Joel Piroe
Spoiler alert, Leeds' strongest front three from last season could very well start against Everton. Daniel James and Wilfried Gnonto both come into the Premier League with a point to prove, while Piroe's 19 goals next season hand him confidence to replicate his goal-scoring prowess.
However, it would be naive to suggest Leeds won't strengthen their frontline this summer after Manor Solomon's loan ended. Besiktas' 19-year-old Semih Kılıçsoy and Igor Paixao have names mentioned to improve Farke's options out wide.
There's also been reports of a transfer record swoop for Fulham's Rodrigo Muniz. Nmecha has already strengthened Leeds' centre-forward options, but uncertainty around the future of Mateo Joseph and Patrick Bamford means that there could be scope for further reinforcements.
