Wolves finally signed a player on Friday, with Fer Lopez joining from Celta Vigo.
Vitor Pereira has his first new face through the door in the form of the Spaniard, who will challenge to play in the number 10 positions in Wolves’ team.
Lopez arrives as the club’s ninth-most expensive signing ever, having joined for around £19.5 million.
The 21-year-old is not a replacement for Matheus Cunha, but is hopefully someone who will ultimately provide regular output in those advanced midfielder areas.
Arguably, he is more of a replacement for Pablo Sarabia, who left Wolves recently and now plays for Al-Arabi in Qatar.
Fans are excited to watch Lopez in action.
But it will be a few weeks yet until Fer Lopez takes to the field for Wolves in pre-season, and a couple of months before he gets his first outing at Molineux as a player.
But Lopez has visited his new home, and his reaction was certainly wholesome.

Things are about to change for Lopez in a big way.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
The 21-year-old is a Premier League player now, and he is certainly making a step up from his previous club.
Previously, Lopez was playing at the Abanca Balaídos Stadium, which holds just under 25,000 spectators. Although last season Celta had an average home attendance of 21,500.
Molineux is his new home now, meaning Lopez will get to play in front of just over 32,000 fans. Last season, Wolves’ average home attendance was just below 31,000.
So more fans and a bigger stadium – and the scale of his new home wasn’t lost on Lopez as he was shown around a few days ago.
In the video released of Lopez’s first day at Compton, a beaming Lopez said as he walked out onto the pitch at Molineux. “Wow, this is big eh?! Crazy big, eh?”
Lopez sure to be a player Wolves fans root for
Lopez comes across so well in the video documenting his first day at the club.
The star carries himself with real confidence and charm, and you can just tell he is genuinely excited for this new chapter, and the chance to prove himself in the Premier League.
One gets the feeling that the crowd will take to him quite quickly.
Not only does he come across well, but we know he is a serious talent, with Lopez having already been likened to Riyad Mahrez.
Steve Bull has rightly urged patience over Lopez, because he has not long been playing senior football.
He will need that period of time to get used to the rigours of the English game. But hopefully, the environment Wolves provide will be just right for him to settle nice and quickly.
