Everton have been linked with a move for Manchester City outcast Jack Grealish, in what would be a high-profile move.
Grealish is expected to leave Manchester City after falling down the pecking order, and Everton have been credited with an interest in the 29-year-old.
Everton are keen on making a statement signing as they move into their new stadium, and Grealish would be one of their biggest additions in years if the Toffees can pull off a deal.
If the Englishman does join, David Moyes will be tasked with getting the best out of him, and he will have a decision to make over who drops out of his team to accommodate the attacking midfielder.

Grealish could replace Carlos Alcaraz
Grealish has typically played on the left wing for Manchester City, but if he does move to Everton, a return to an attacking midfield position could be on the cards.

Everton have let Abdoulaye Doucoure leave, but have signed Carlos Alcaraz on a permanent deal after his impressive stint on loan from Flamengo.
However, Alcaraz could find his starting spot in jeopardy if Grealish joins.

Iliman Ndiaye has locked down the left-wing position, and the best way for Moyes to revitalise Grealish could be to change his position.
This will mean Alcaraz gets ousted from the attacking midfield role he was set to inherit, but this may not necessarily reduce his game time.

Alcaraz could be forced to accommodate for Grealish
Alcaraz started just seven of his 16 Premier League appearances for Everton, and these came on the left wing or in the centre.
However, with Jack Harrison also departing, this could be an opportunity for him to change role and move to the right wing.
Many want Alcaraz to start more games given his creativity and supreme technical skill, and he could link up well with Grealish and Ndiaye as an outstanding attacking midfield trio.
Even if Alcaraz drops to the bench with Ndiaye and Grealish starting, he could rotate in a lot for the pair, and this could make Everton more unpredictable for opposition teams next season.
