Manchester United supporters are eagerly awaiting their next signing, following the acquisition of Matheus Cunha.
The Red Devils splashed out a whopping £62.5million to trigger the Brazilian's release clause from Wolves and swiftly set their sights on Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo.
However, landing Mbeumo is proving a tough nut to crack. Brentford are holding out for no less than £60m for the Cameroon international, who's already signalled his preference to join United over other interested parties.
Old Trafford chiefs are hesitant to fork out such a hefty sum, especially as they've yet to make a big-money sale this summer. Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho could all fetch a pretty penny.
Ruben Amorim isn't just eyeing Mbeumo, with the goalkeeping situation at United also up in the air. Emiliano Martinez is reportedly United's top pick, but Amorim and his team have other options who could give Andre Onana a run for his money for the No.1 jersey - or even take his place.

United have reportedly earmarked Real Madrid goalie Andriy Lunin as a backup plan to prime target Emiliano Martinez, according to Spanish media.
With Aston Villa's Martinez fielding offers from Saudi Arabia, the Red Devils are preparing for all eventualities, reports the Mirror.
As per Spanish source Defensa Central, United have been in talks with Lunin's agent, Jorge Mendes, about a potential deal for the 26-year-old. However, they're only willing to shell out £13m, which is significantly less than Real's asking price of around £20m.

Napoli are reportedly throwing their hat into the ring alongside Italian rivals Inter Milan to sign Rasmus Hojlund. Inter were pegged as the front-runners to secure Hojlund, 22, earlier this month but now it seems Napoli have entered the fray.
Italian paper Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the talks between the newly-crowned Serie A champions and the United striker's representatives have been positive.
Antonio Conte is keen to beef up his attacking options, which already include ex-Red Devil Romelu Lukaku.
