Nottingham Forest will be going in search of a number of new players this summer, with European football on the horizon next season.
Forest will discover their Europa League fate this week, with Crystal Palace guilty of breaching some multi-owner breaches that they’ve been asked to confirm.
However, it looks like the UEFA Conference League for the Reds, and that will be absolutely fine for Nuno Espirito Santo.
The recruitment drive has already got underway, with Igor Jesus set to sign for Forest this summer after the Club World Cup, where he’s playing for Botafogo.
Forest do need to ensure that the squad is well-stocked for next season, but there will also be some departures before the window closes in September.

Nottingham Forest receive offers for Taiwo Awoniyi
According to Turkish journalist Ertan Suzgun, Forest have received some loan offers for Awoniyi’s services this summer but are sitting tight on the striker.
Awoniyi’s situation is complicated at the moment as he recovers from a serious intestinal injury sustained against Leicester back in May.
It would appear that Forest would like to recoup a decent loan fee should Awoniyi leave, with the current offers considered too low to consider.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Awoniyi did struggle a little bit last season, scoring just once in the Premier League and the hope will be that he can have his future resolved this summer.
Awoniyi would leave with respect of the Forest fan base
Fans can say what they want about the Forest striker, but without Awoniyi’s brilliance in 2022/23, the Reds would have endured a very short stay in the Premier League.
The Reds talisman was in fine form that season and bagged 11 goals following his £17 million transfer from Union Berlin.
Sadly, injuries have taken their toll on Awoniyi and in three seasons at Forest, he’s been forced to have two surgeries to his groin and also suffered the awful injury against Leicester in May.
Naturally, Forest will want to help the Nigerian through his rehabilitation but if the Reds land their top forward targets, it would be very feasible that Awoniyi could depart this summer.
If that is the case, he doesn’t deserve a bad word said about him, considering all he’s achieved on Trentside.
