The 24-year-old forward has a release clause set at ÂŁ45m. The Red Devils are now pushing hard to hijack a deal already being eyed by a Saudi club. The Saudi side is reportedly preparing a total package worth around ÂŁ83m.
At the moment, Ruben Amorim’s plans are in full swing. Utd are aiming to bring in fresh firepower this summer after a poor season. The club has already signed Matheus Cunha. But, he’s likely to play just behind the main striker. That leaves room for another forward and Kean is now a top target.
However, Utd will be not be having European football on the table. So, the club is determined to attract quality players who can be part of their long-term rebuild.
Kean’s Revival Draws Big Club Attention
Moise Kean had a strong campaign with Fiorentina. He looks to have found his form again after a few shaky seasons. He has his speed and strength, as well as his quick feet. And he has been described as “exceptional” over the last few months.
Although, his previous Premier League spell with Everton didn’t go according to plan. But, his form in Italy brought him back onto the radar of the top clubs. Utd had shown interest in Kean previously, but now their interest has returned stronger.
Alongside the Kean pursuit, Red Devils are also keeping tabs on Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo. They are reportedly willing to pay over £63m plus add-ons to get him. If both deals go ahead, Amorim could have a completely new front line to work with next season.
