Chelsea will face Tunisian side ES Tunis in their final group stage match at the FIFA Club World Cup on Wednesday morning.
Enzo Maresca’s side defeated LAFC 2-0 in their opening game of the tournament, before a shock 3-1 loss against Brazilian outfit Flamengo on Friday evening.
After Pedro Neto had put the Blues in front, the game was turned on its head in ten action-packed second-half minutes as Flamengo scored twice before Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson was sent off just minutes after being substituted on.
Flamengo then scored a third late on to ensure victory and book their place in the knockout stages of the competition.
Jackson is now suspended in both the Club World Cup and the Premier League, after being dismissed against Newcastle United back in May.
Now, it appears that the striker could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

According to TBR Football, the Senegal international’s representatives are exploring the options available to the striker ahead of the new season.
The Blues have already signed striker Liam Delap from Ipswich Town this summer, and the report claims that they are also in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a move for Randal Kolo Muani.
Despite the approach from Chelsea, the report suggests that Kolo Muani – who is currently on loan at Juventus – is keen to stay put in Serie A and is therefore unlikely to join Maresca’s squad.
The arrival of Delap, however, is likely to restrict Jackson’s playing time next season, and it is claimed that the player’s representatives have therefore started actively assessing the options available to him.
Jackson, 24, is said to have attracted interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League, as well as from Germany and Italy.
The striker joined Chelsea from Spanish side Villarreal back in 2023 and has since scored 30 goals in 80 games for the West London club.
