Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho are both looking to be leaving Manchester United this summer after falling out of favour with Ruben Amorim.

Rashford was dropped from the squad last December as the Red Devils’ coaching staff grew concerned of his off-field antics affecting his focus on the pitch.

In January he was loaned out Aston Vila with a £40 million optional buy clause. However, with The Villains missing out on Champions League football, a permanent move was financially unviable.

Now, Ruben Amorim shows no signs of reintegrating the England international into his squad, with clubs like Barcelona looking to sign the 27-year-old.

Rashford has even requested to ditch the pre-season tour to concentrate of securing a move away, a request which seems to have been granted.

As for Garnacho, the Argentina international seemingly burnt his bridge with Amorim after undermining the Portuguese manager in the Europa League final post-match interview.

Garnacho publicly questioned Amorim’s decision to bench him for the final when until then he’d played most of the tournament.

Following this, Amorim addressed the winger in training, telling him he that he better hope he can find another club, seemingly announcing the end of Garnacho’s United career.

The pair admittedly do have a lot in common, not just being dropped by Amorim.

Both are products of the United academy, with their sales set to help the club’s financial struggles.

And more recently, both have been much more present on social media.

In an interesting choice of posts, Garnacho has shown support for Rashford by posting an image of him wearing an Aston Villa shirt with Rashford’s name.

However, the pair’s relationship hasn’t always been so close, with Samuel Luckhurst revealing new information about the pair.

The Manchester Evening News journalist has reported that a member of Rashford’s inner circle once labelled Garnacho “a f*****g Ronaldo wannabe”.

Whilst it’s not known what the turning point in the pairs relationship has been, the dynamic is now reportedly more like “brothers”.
