Man Utd-linked striker with £44.5m release clause now has lucrative ‘offer’ on ‘table’ from one Saudi Pro League club

Ruben Amorim could now miss out on one Manchester United-linked forward who is being subjected to interest from the Saudi Pro League, according to reports.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with bringing in a new striker for manager Ruben Amorim before the transfer window shuts in September.

Amorim’s United first-team squad deeply struggled in the final third last season and Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee failed to make their mark leading the frontline.

Rasmus Hojlund netted 10 times in 52 matches in all competitions last season, while Joshua Zirkzee ended his debut campaign by scoring seven times in 49 matches.

The Red Devils’ key transfer targets in the summer window are believed to include Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo and Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres.

However, it remains to be seen if Bryan Mbeumo or Viktor Gyokeres are added to Amorim’s squad ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League season at Old Trafford.

Man Utd still linked with Fiorentina and Italy striker Moise Kean amid the Saudi Pro League transfer interest

Moise Kean has been linked with Manchester United and the 25-year-old Fiorentina striker’s future in Serie A remains uncertain ahead of the 2025-26 season.

The Italy star left Juventus in 2024 and Fiorentina signed him from the Turin-based club for an initial fee of €13m, which could rise to €18m through add-ons.

Moise Kean is under contract with Fiorentina until 2029 and he netted 25 times and registered three assists in 44 matches across all competitions last season.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, United have ‘reappeared’ with their interest in Kean and are now ‘monitoring the situation’ around the Italy striker.

It is believed that Kean would be open to a move to the Premier League and the ‘allure’ of a move to England is a ‘real danger for Fiorentina’ and their fans.

Gazzetta dello Sport has suggested that United’s decision to move for Kean could also be swayed on Arsenal potentially signing Viktor Gyokeres ahead of them.

Moise Kean has a release clause believed to be £44.5m (€52m) in his current Fiorentina deal, which will become active from 1st July to 15th July.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that ‘there is an offer’ for Kean to leave Italy and complete a lucrative move to Saudi Pro League outfit Al Qadsiah this summer.

Al Qadsiah are ready to put a ‘97 million’ offer ‘on the table’ for the former Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain player, which is part of a three-year deal.

The Italian newspaper has claimed that Kean would earn ‘45 of the salary’ from the ‘97 million’ offer, with Al Qadsiah having a ‘lot of money’ at their disposal.
