Milos Kerkez is reportedly set to fly to Liverpool on Monday to complete his transfer from Bournemouth.
The defender's arrival at Liverpool has been expected for several months, with the 21-year-old seen as the long-term heir to Andy Robertson, who has been the Reds' starting left-back for the last eight years.
Any doubts about his possible transfer stalling were alleviated last week by the Kerkez family. His brother Markos, posted on Instagram claimed Kerkez is "soon to be a new Liverpool player".
Meanwhile, the Hungarian's father, Sebastijan, underlined the player's desire to join Liverpool when speaking on a podcast.
“Everything is done between us - [personal terms] we just need to sort out some details but it's basically a done deal.
"[Liverpool sporting director] Richard Hughes brought us to Bournemouth, if he said we go to India, then we go to India. Everything is agreed, just some little things," he added.

The deal to bring Kerkez to Anfield could be concluded in the coming days, according to a fresh report from The Athletic's David Ornstein.
He claims Kerkez will travel on Monday to Merseyside from Belgrade, where he has been enjoying some down time during the summer, and will complete his medical.
The transfer could even be officially announced on Tuesday.
Kerkez's signing would be the fourth of a busy window for the Reds, following the signings of Jeremie Frimpong, Armin Pecsi and Florian Wirtz. Valenica goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili is also set to arrive at Anfield later in the window.

What Kerkez's arrival means for the long-term future of Robertson is unclear. The Scotland captain has been linked with a summer move to Atletico Madrid following an underwhelming first campaign under Slot.
Kerkez will provide a more offensive, dynamic option than 31-year-old Robertson, who has just 12 months remaining on his current Anfield deal.
Kostas Tsimikas' position at Liverpool is also in doubt, with the ex-Olympiacos man admitting in a recent interview that there is a "temptation" to move elsewhere, but added he is content with his back-up role.
As for Kerkez, the Hungarian is set to leave Bournemouth after two years on the south coast. The former AC Milan youngster was brought to England by Hughes during his time at the Vitality, and the Reds' sporting director is said to have played a crucial role in convincing Kerkez to join Liverpool.
The left-back played 74 games for the Cherries and started all 38 Premier League games this season. He has already earned 23 international caps and has a close bond with current Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.
