Arsenal’s Oleksandr Zinchenko has been linked with a move to multiple Serie A sides and AC Milan are currently the most concrete destination.
Developments at Milanello yesterday suggested Theo Hernandez is nearing a move to Al Hilal and this will leave the Rossoneri looking for a replacement.
Corriere dello Sport report Arsenal’s Zinchenko is seen as a key option and sporting director Igli Tare has already held talks with the Ukrainian’s entourage. The full-back is said to be interested in a move to the San Siro and his contract situation at the Emirates is seen as a key reason behind Milan’s intrigue.
Zinchenko’s deal at Arsenal runs out in the summer of 2026 and that is why the Italian giants are seeking a discount.
The belief is that the Gunners are unlikely to receive €20m from the sale, a figure they’re said to have expected, with Milan speaking to the versatile defender’s entourage about spreading out his salary. The agents are said to be managing the player’s transfer, getting all the details in place.
So far, things appear positive on that front and Zinchenko will also be happy to take a salary cut.
