Transfer talks ahead to sign Wolves player for bargain fee – 28-year-old on the agenda

There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Besiktas are showing interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Gonçalo Guedes.

The Istanbul side are looking to add to their attack this summer and have also been linked with Nottingham Forest’s Jota Silva, so it would appear there’s a Portuguese theme going on.

[Takvim](https://www.takvim.com.tr/spor/2025/06/23/besiktasa-bir-portekizli-daha-transferde-rota-belirlendi/3) report the Wolves player has been added to Besiktas’ transfer wish list as Ole Gunnar Solskjær looks to strengthen his squad this summer. The Norwegian only arrived in Istanbul towards the end of the last transfer window and can now bring in his own players.

According to the Turkish media outlet, the Black Eagles want to sit down with the Premier League side to discuss the 28-year-old’s availability.

It’s claimed the Besiktas hierarchy will make great efforts to sign the attacker, but they want Wolves to reduce the transfer fee. It’s reported Wolves value him in the region of €11m, although it appears Takvim have just taken that figure from Transfermarkt.

Last season he made 33 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals. He’s contracted to the Premier League side until June 2027.
