The Steelers found a talented safety in DeShon Elliott last year in free agency to start next to Minkah Fitzpatrick, and this year they found a talented and, they hope, healthy third safety in Juan Thornhill.
The 6-0 1/4, 205-pounder came out of Virginia in the 2019 draft and was selected in the second round by the Kansas City Chiefs.
An immediate starter, Thornhill made the NFL's All-Rookie team, won two Super Bowl rings, and signed with the Browns as a free agent before the 2023 season. His two years in Cleveland preceded his signing with the Steelers this past March 19.
