Man United in contact to sign Real Madrid star

Man United are in contact with the agent of one Real Madrid star. The player has been superb for Los Blancos in the recent seasons. He has helped them to win multiple titles including 2 Champions Leagues.

Man United are keen to improve their current squad. They had a very tough season due to which Ruben Amorim is ready to replace many players. One of them is Andre Onana although his future is not yet decided. But, there is a chance of him leaving the club this summer.

Onana has commited multiple errors which have costed United. He has not been able to impress at Old Trafford. The Red Devils bought him for high fee with higher expectations but the Cameroon international has failed to impress. As a result, the club are monitoring options to replace him.

United are linked with Emi Martinez of Aston Villa. The Argentine is ready to join them but Unai Emery’s men want a high fee. They are demanding around €50 million. United have still not submitted any offer for him. Amidst this, they are linked with Real Madrid shot-stopper.

Man United linked with Real Madrid keeper

The star in question here is Andriy Lunin. He is 26 years old and represents Ukrain on international stage. Lunin has been very good in recent seasons for Madrid. But, he is still not the first choice keeper as Courtois has also been superb. This may result in him leaving the club in order to play regularly.

According to Defensa Central, United are amongst the clubs showing interest in Lunin. In addition, they are already in contact with Jorge Mendes who is agent of Lunin. The Red Devils are ready to offer €15 million for Ukrainian but Madrid want around €20-25 million.

Lunin can be a great long-term investment and hence spending €25 million on him will be a good business. He can replace Onana straight away or compete with him for the starting spot. It will depend on what United think of the situation and whom they move ahead for in between Andriy Lunin and Emi Martinez.
