Gunshot victim reported in downtown Oklahoma City after Thunder win NBA Finals

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (KOKH) — Oklahoma City Police reported that there was one gunshot victim in downtown Oklahoma City after the Oklahoma City Thunder won Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

Police report it happened in the 100 block of W. Oklahoma City Boulevard, on the east side of Scissortail Park, around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The victim is expected to make a full recovery, and one person is currently detained; however, no arrests have been made at this time.

Officials believe the shooting stemmed from a fight.

Police said the incident is not related to the basketball game.

More information is expected to be released Monday morning.
