Milos Kerkez Reportedly Flying to Liverpool for Monday Medical

Having just had themselves a Florian Friday before the weekend, as German superstar attacker Florian Wirtz arrived from Bayer Leverkusen in a monster £116M deal likely to go down as football’s biggest of the 2025 summer transfer window, Liverpool fans now have themselves a Milos Monday to celebrate.

The left back’s official unveiling as Liverpool’s third signing of the summer transfer window in what is expected to be a £40M deal probably won’t come today. Still, widespread reports have the 21-year-old Hungarian international flying in for his medical today, the final major hurdle now before the deal is completed.

The Bournemouth left back, who current Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes brought to the south coast club from AZ Alkmaar in 2023 in a significant £15M deal and who has since made 74 appearances across two seasons for them, is expected to arrive shortly and undergo his medical in the afternoon.

He will then put pen to paper on his new Liverpool deal, with official confirmation of the move likely to come tomorrow. Meanwhile, the Reds appear to be hard at work on further signings and are believed to be closing on Crystal Palace centre half Marc Guéhi to replace the recently departed Jarell Quansah.
