Colin Hendry says this Manchester City‘outcast’ can be perfect Bukayo Saka backup at Arsenal

Colin Hendry says Manchester City winger Jack Grealish would be a perfect backup to Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, providing the Gunners with much-needed creativity. According to Hendry, Grealish is an “unbelievable player” who could thrive at Arsenal.

“Whoever gets him will be getting an unbelievable player. I actually think he could be a good addition for a team like Arsenal because they’re in need of a bit more creativity,” Hendry said in an interview with Coin Poker

Hendry, who played for Manchester City in the early 90s, believes Grealish has been unfairly treated and needs a fresh start. “He’s an excellent footballer. He’s been a scapegoat sometimes. However, it’s unlikely that Manchester City would sanction a sale to Arsenal, given their rivalry in the Premier League.

“Man City are unlikely to sanction any more sales to Arsenal… Strengthening one of their main rivals for top spot would not be a good idea,” the report noted. Grealish’s future is uncertain, with potential destinations including Aston Villa, Newcastle, and Everton, but finances will dictate where he goes.

Manchester City wants around £45m for Grealish, and his £300,000 weekly salary means only certain teams can afford him.

Meanwhile, Manchester City is closing in on two new signings, according to Fabrizio Romano. The club is also looking to replace departing midfielder Bernardo Silva, with Eduardo Camavinga being a potential target.
