Huge exit tipped at Elland Road as Leeds United in talks with European club – Birmingham City…

Leeds United had their eye on the U21 Euros as the observed potential targets. Ukraine’s Vladyslav Vanat was one of the names linked according to reports.

The tournament was an interesting one, as it showcased some current and former Leeds United stars. Archie Gray and Charlie Cresswell were familiar names at the tournament. Gray secured a big money move last summer, while Cresswell could be set for his big move after joining Toulouse. Leeds will earn a fee from the transfer clause in Cresswell’s contract.

Mateo Joseph’s future is already up in the air this summer. He is attracting interest from multiple clubs, but Leeds are not keen on a sale. Playing time will be priority for the youngster after he started just 11 league games last season.

Real Betis have an offer on the table, but the Whites are not happy with the fee.

Football pundit Lee Hendrie thinks Joseph would be a phenomenal signing for Birmingham City, who have been linked with the Leeds man.

“Mateo Joseph is linked with Birmingham City. Birmingham are linked with so many players. I do feel he has to have a real season away where he’s going to be one of the main players. If it is to be Birmingham, I think that’s where you’re going to see the best of him.” Hendrie said to FLW.

“Obviously he’s been a bit-part player for quite some time now but has been talked about quite heavily, bags of potential. If Birmingham are going to have potential of going again, they do have to start looking and thinking what potential do the likes of Joseph have? He certainly ticks the box for them.”

Forward could be a hit at Birmingham City

Looking at Birmingham last season, Joseph would easily be a starter and arguably the best player at the club. Joseph earned his minutes last season, and deserves a team where he can play more minutes.
