Chelsea have started negotiations to sign French striker this summer. The player currently plays for Ligue 1 outfit but was on loan at Serie A club for the last half of the 2024/25 season.
Chelsea have signed Liam Delap as a new striker. The 22 year old costed them only £30 million. This has given them a chance to sign another striker. The Blues are already monitoring options available in striker market.
Nicolas Jackson has been inconsistent whereas Guiu is too young. The Spaniard will be sent on loan this summer whereas Jackson can get sold. Hence, another striker can become top priority for the West London club.
Chelsea add French striker to their summer wishlist
The star in question here is Randal Kolo Muani of PSG. He has no future at Paris with UCL champions keen to sell him. The 26 year old was already on loan away from Stamford Bridge. He was at Juventus for half season where he scored 10 goals and picked 3 assists in 21 games.
According to L’Equipe, Chelsea have started negotiations with PSG for Kolo Muani. The 26 year old is also wanted by Juventus. But, the Old Lady are planning to sign him on another loan with an option to buy him permamently. Hence, Chelsea can take lead in race by making an offer to sign Kolo Muani permanently.
However, Kolo Muani will also play a big part in the deal. He can be tempted to join Chelsea who are one of the biggest clubs in the world. But, he can also push to join Juve where he has found his form. It will depend on what the 26 year old thinks of the offers.
If Chelsea do sign Kolo Muani, he will be first choice striker for sure. This will reduce the chances of Nicolas Jackson playing regularly. As a result, the Blues may cash-in on him which will help them in spending for future signings.
