Jalen Hurts is getting ready for another NFL season after leading the Philadelphia Eagles to their second Super Bowl title in franchise history. It was his first with the team, and once again, he lived up to the "winner" label.
Even with critics claiming the Eagles’ success was more about the talent around him, Hurts has consistently carried himself like a true leader. In the Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs, he completed 17-of-22 passes for two touchdowns and one interception. He also ran 11 times for 72 yards and another score.
On Monday, Hurts appeared on NBC’s "Today Show" and announced he is releasing a children’s book titled "Better Than a Touchdown." The book, illustrated by Nneka Myers, is set to be released on March 10, 2026. Fans can already preorder their copy.
"It all began for me and it’s always been a dream of mine to have my own children’s book," Hurts said. "Today, that dream finally comes true."
Fans took to social media shortly after Hurts' announcement, sharing their reactions.
"What can't this man do?" a fan said.
"He’s the definition of aura," another wrote.
"We are very lucky to have such a good person at QB leading by example for the young ones," added a fan.
"Final sentence of the book is def when your peers push you to do great things, anything is possible!" one said.
"This is really cool, I might get this for my younger great nieces and nephews," a fan added.
"I’m trying really hard to not like a Philly eagles QB…… since I’m a cowboy fan…. But the guy seems so dang likeable haha," wrote a fan.
