'Berta, Please Get Him!' 'Give Him £300K And Let's Move' Fans Urge Arsenal To Sign Forward After Hearing £70M Valuation

Arsenal could sign top transfer target Rodrygo for a fee “in excess of £70m”, according to reports.

It has been assumed that Real Madrid would demand a price closer to €90m (£77m) or €100m (£85.7m), but The Mirror claim that the La Liga side may lower their valuation for Brazilian international later in the transfer window.

A lot still rides on Rodrygo himself and whether he wants to make the switch to the Emirates but supporters on X are calling on the Gunners to secure his signature:

Give him 300k a week and let's move ..havertz is on 295k …let's move

Pay the money. We need a big signing to give us hope. Him, zubimendi and the current more likely striker signing gykores would give us a title winning 11. Just need to do a bit of business to bolster our bench and we will be all set!

Rodrygo did not play in Real’s last match

Despite starting Real’s Club World Cup opener against Al-Hilal, the 24-year-old was an unused substitute for the second group game versus Mexican side Pachuca.

Head coach Xabi Alonso is looking to rotate his side during the tournament, but it will be interesting to see how often Rodrygo features in upcoming fixtures.

An Arsenal forward has been linked with a move elsewhere

Bayern Munich have been credited with an interest in Gabriel Martinelli. There were rumours earlier in the summer that the Gunners may consider offloading the 23-year-old for the right price.

If Martinelli were to depart the Emirates, it would certainly leave room in the squad for someone like Rodrygo to be brought in.

In other news, a teammate of Brazil’s ‘new Neymar” has confirmed that Arsenal want to “buy him”
