Kyrie Irving Sends Encouraging Message To Mavericks Fans

The Dallas Mavericks will be without Kyrie Irving for the foreseeable future, but he will be back.

And when he returns, Irving wants to help the team reach new heights.

Speaking with NBA TV, Irving talked about the excitement around the Mavericks and how he is ready to move forward.

“It’s an exciting time to be a Dallas Maverick. It’s an exciting time to be a Dallas Mavericks fan. Shoutout to MFFL. All the supporters that been rocking with us. It’s been an exciting journey thus far, even just being in Dallas. It’s been up and down, so to say, just in terms of the circumstances and situations, but we’ve been doing our best. I’ve been doing my best. I’m one of the leaders of the team, so I’ve got to stay stoic, stay poised, ready for the moment, ready to articulate what’s going on and be ready to move forward,” Irving said, via MFFL NATION.

Irving’s time with the Mavericks has definitely been filled with ups and downs, but what’s next?

Last season, the team lost Luka Doncic, a shocking moment that will live in Mavericks history forever.

Then, they suffered a slew of injuries, including a season-ending one to Irving himself.

Now he is recovering and making plans for the future, and the team is rebuilding.

That rebuilding may happen faster than expected because they hold the No. 1 pick for this week’s draft.

With Cooper Flagg surely coming to the team, there is reason to be hopeful about what’s ahead for Dallas.

Just months ago, people thought all was lost, but now excitement is creeping back into the fanbase.

Sadly, Irving isn’t going to be ready to join Flagg and the squad when the new season kicks off.

His serious injury requires a longer rehabilitation process, but there is hope that he will be back by mid-season in 2025-26.

This statement makes it clear that he is ready to return, prepared to play hard, and isn’t leaving the Mavericks anytime soon.
