The Arsenal And Bayern Munich Swap Deal That Would See The Gunners Land 13-Time League Winner

Arsenal and Bayern Munich could do a swap deal that would see Gabriel Martinelli swap with Kingsley Coman.

The Gunners want to add a winger this summer in order to strengthen their forward line, especially considering the injury to Bukayo Saka last season which saw him out for three months.

One name that Arsenal have been linked to is Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman, who is one of the most successful wingers in world football. He has won 13 league titles with Bayern, Juventus and PSG, and also a Champions League title, and over 360 career appearances.

Coman has just two years left on his contract with the German giants, and has been rumoured over a move to the Premier League. The 29-year-old could be a valuable asset for Mikel Arteta and the Gunners if they were to make a move for him.

Arsenal could swap Martinelli for Coman

Arsenal’s interest in Coman becomes even more intriguing now that it has been reported that Bayern Munich want to sign Gabriel Martinelli. It was revealed that the German club are keen to sign the 24-year-old.

It begs the question as to whether Arsenal could decide to sell Martinelli to Bayern Munich in part-exchange with Coman coming to the Emirates as part of the deal.

Martinelli is estimated to be worth around £47m, and Coman is valued at £26m, meaning that if the pair were to do a swap deal involving Martinelli and Coman, then Arsenal would expect some cash on top of Coman as a part of a deal. Last season, the French winger made 43 appearances, scoring nine goals and providing six assists.

Furthermore, Coman’s preferred position is on the left hand side, but he can also feature on the right. That versatility could be vital for Arsenal, especially if they see injuries to the likes of Saka again this coming season.
