Odell Beckham Jr. Says He Never Wanted To Leave 1 NFL Team

Not so long ago, Odell Beckham Jr. was in the conversation for best wide receiver in the league.

He was often the lone bright spot in the New York Giants’ offense.

Unfortunately, the team eventually chose to move on from him, as there were some off-the-field distractions, the team wasn’t doing well, there were some character issues, and he was about to demand a steep salary.

OBJ didn’t find much success with the Cleveland Browns, but he ultimately made his way to the Los Angeles Rams, playing a huge role to help them win a Super Bowl ring.

Even so, he’s still a Giant at heart.

As shown by Dov Kleiman on X, OBJ recently admitted that he would give up his ring with the Rams if it meant he could go back to the Big Apple and win a Super Bowl there.

“I never wanted to leave,” Beckham said when asked if he would rather keep his ring with the Rams or go back and win with the Giants.

This comes right after OBJ teased a fan about potentially returning to the Giants.

Of course, a lot has transpired since he first left the team, and he’s no longer at the top of his game.

The fact that he’s still a free agent at this point in the offseason goes to show how he’s perceived around the league at this point in his career.

Injuries derailed a promising career, and he’s no longer the same stud he was years ago.

Even so, it would be nice to see him take the field for the Giants one more time before he walks away from the game.
