Marcus Rashford's inner circle have reportedly given a brutal nickname to fellow Manchester United outcast Alejandro Garnacho. Both wingers are expected to leave Old Trafford after falling out with manager Ruben Amorim, with the first incident occurring back in 2024 ahead of the season's first Manchester derby.
Garnacho caused a stir on social media over the weekend after posting a picture of himself in an Aston Villa shirt bearing Rashford’s name and number, adding further fuel to the fire surrounding his future at the Theatre of Dreams. And while the Englishman responded to the post positively, it appears that the general sentiment from those closest to him about the Argentine is far from friendly.

Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on how Manchester United feel after Alejandro Garnacho was spotted wearing an Aston Villa shirt.
Garnacho Labelled a 'Wannabe' by Rashford's Camp
The Englishman's closest confidants have not spoken kindly of his teammate
Rashford and Garnacho
Despite the fact that Rashford responded to Garnacho's post with a comment describing his teammate as his 'brother', a report from the Manchester Evening News has suggested that the relationship between the pair is not as strong as the social media activity indicates, with the two not only rarely linking up on the pitch, but off it too. In fact, it was claimed that the only time the two have spent time together away from football is at team bonding events with other members of the squad.
Furthermore, it has been stated that members of Rashford's closest circle have even labelled Garnacho as a 'f*****g Ronaldo wannabe'.
It is widely known that Garnacho viewed Cristiano Ronaldo as one of his biggest idols, and even got to live out his dream playing alongside the Portuguese superstar during the first few months of Erik ten Hag's United tenure. In fact, it was Ronaldo who provided the assist for Garnacho's first professional goal away at Real Sociedad, with the then-teenager asking for and receiving permission to mimic his hero's new sleep celebration.
Years on, it seems as though the Argentinian's obsession with the former Old Trafford number seven has stuck with him, leading to ridicule from the Rashford camp.
