Ineos-owned Lausanne-Sport reportedly want to sign Nathan Butler-Oyedeji when his contract expires at Arsenal in June.

Ineos, which co-owns Manchester United and several other European clubs under Sir Jim Ratcliffe, are no strangers to signing talent from the Gunners. Chido Obi and Ayden Heaven are two young stars who have joined the Reds from Arsenal over the past nine months.

Both players have featured for Ruben Amorim's first team since arriving at M16. Heaven made the most significant impact for United before suffering an injury during their 3-0 win at Leicester City before the March international break.

And it is claimed that Ineos will now turn to north London club Arsenal again with striker Butler-Oyedeji. The Evening Standard claim that Swiss Super League club Lausanne-Sport are willing to pay around £300,000 in instalments.

It is said that this figure is training compensation fees to the Gunners in accordance with FIFA regulations.

However, personal terms with Butler-Oyedeji are not yet agreed. The 22-year-old has been at Arsenal since the age of eight but will leave as a free agent this month and is in the process of deciding his next move.

The Gunners announced on June 4 that the striker would be one of 20 players across their men’s, women’s and youth teams to be leaving the club this summer.

United, meanwhile, intend to sign a goalkeeper and striker this summer in what is shaping up to be a drastic transfer window at Old Trafford.

Reds boss Amorim may also want another attacker, with Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho facing uncertain futures at M16. Alejandro Garnacho has also been linked with a move away.
