Man United are looking at other striker options after it was revealed that Viktor Gyokeres is holding out for a move to Arsenal.

Instead of Gyokeres, United are looking at alternative targets, and are reportedly keen on a striker who has recently generated a bid from the Saudi Pro League amounting to around £83 million.

Man United eyeing move for Moise Kean

The Red Devils have reportedly identified their first-choice alternative to Gyokeres, and it comes in the form of Fiorentina striker Moise Kean, according to reports in Italy. The 25-year-old was one of the most prolific attackers in the Serie A last season.

Reported in Italian newspaper Gazetta Dello Sport, the Red Devils have set their sights on Kean, who has a £45m release clause at Fiorentina. The report includes that the Italian club has received an offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Quadsiah amounting to £83m for Kean, but it is not understood whether he would be willing to move rather than staying in Europe.

Last season, the Italian striker made 44 appearances in all competitions for Fiorentina, scoring 25 goals. He was the second-highest scoring player in the Serie A, just behind Atalanta striker Matteo Retegui, who netted 28 goals in all competitions.

Which other striker could Man United sign?

Amid the uncertain Gyokeres situation, United are keeping their options open by targeting alternatives such as Kean. However, the Italian isn’t the only other striker that United have been linked with.

Ekitike, however, has an £85m asking price, making him a far more expensive option compared to Kean. But, the Frankfurt striker does have age on his side, as he is just 22 years old. It is understood that there is also interest in Ekitike from Italian clubs.
