ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - An Atlanta-based hip-hop legend is set to perform at the Atlanta Hawks’ 2025 NBA Draft Watch Party this week.
Southern hip-hop icon Pastor Troy will provide entertainment during the event at State Farm Arena on Wednesday.
A founding member of the Down South Georgia Boys (D.S.G.B.), Pastor Troy has released over 20 independent albums and collaborations with artists like Lil Jon, Ludacris and Three 6 Mafia. He’s best known for hit songs including “Vica Versa” and “No Mo Play in G.A.”
“I’m excited to perform at the Atlanta Hawks’ Draft Watch Party,” the rapper said. “I’m going to bring the energy that will resonate across State Farm Arena all season long. We ready!”

The party will be hosted by the team’s in-game hype emcee Chris “CM” Marks. It will also include members of Hawks Entertainment, including mascot Harry the Hawk, ATL Dancers and the Flight Crew.
Doors for the event will open at 7 p.m. Fans will be able to watch live coverage of the 2025 NBA Draft until 11:30 p.m.
The Hawks hold the No. 13 and No. 22 overall picks in this year’s draft.
Tickets for the watch party are available at [Ticketmaster.com](https://Ticketmaster.com) for $5 on a first-come, first-served basis. All proceeds will go toward the Atlanta Hawks Foundation and its community partner, the YMCA of Metro Atlanta.
