The first-quarter injury marred an exciting start to the season’s deciding game, which the Thunder went on to win, 103-91.
The injury puts Haliburton’s status for the 2025-26 season in jeopardy, according to ESPN.
Haliburton, who played through a calf strain in the NBA Finals. was attempting to drive to the basket when he fell to the floor in pain.
The ex-Iowa State star immediately began slapping the court in frustration before he was helped from the court.
Haliburton, 25, averaged 17.7 points and 9 assists on 46% shooting during Indiana’s unlikely run to the finals. He had scored 9 points before leaving the game.
