Manchester United have a significant number of players they’re looking to offload this summer, hoping to strike a deal with Chelsea.

The Red Devils are desperate to sell players like Antony, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho, who all have lost their place in the squad at Old Trafford.

However another star set to be is offloaded is Alejandro Garnacho.

The Argentine winger was looking close to leave United in the winter transfer window as Chelsea and Napoli battled it out for his signature.

Ultimately, Garnacho stayed, but interest continued.

Now the talented youngster looks even more likely to leave due to the very public breakdown in his relationship with Ruben Amorim.

After the winger undermined the manager in an interview after the Europa League final, Amorim told him in training he needs to find another club.

Now, The Telegraph has reported that Chelsea are once more looking at Garnacho.

It’s understood that United are hoping to cash in on their interest but looking at a player-swap deal featuring Christopher Nkunku coming the other way to move to Old Trafford.

This was a move first considered in the winter with United desperate for a striker who can consistently perform in front of goal.

Whilst nothing materialised in January, United are more determined to sell Alejandro Garnacho now then back then, so the renewed interest in the deal could set the summer up for a mutually beneficial move.
