Game seven of the NBA Finals took place last night, and it brought a lot more than just great basketball. Ahead of the game, Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder players walked the tunnel in maximalist designer fits, and Broadway legend Kristin Chenoweth kicked things off with a grand performance of the National Anthem.
The Wicked star brought her signature flashy, Western-inspired glam to the court for her performance. Up top, she wore a casual gray T-shirt that read “2025 Thunder OKC NBA Finals,” not-to-subtly showing her support for the Thunder. The actor—who is an Oklahoma native—is a longtime fan of the pro basketball team, and even named her dog Thunder in its honor.

Yesterday, she paired her merch T-shirt with straight-leg blue jeans, and most importantly, a pair of crystal-encrusted stiletto boots that went all the way up to her knees.

As if it still wasn’t clear who she was rooting for, Chenoweth accessorized with a dangly silver necklace with a thunder bolt charm, which she accompanied with some rings and her Apple Watch, like a relatable queen. The Thunder ultimately won the game 103-91.
Also known for her music, film, and TV work, Chenoweth is getting ready to return to the theater stage with her upcoming Broadway musical The Queen of Versailles. Previews will beginning on October 8 at the St. James Theatre in New York City, and the official opening night is set for November 10.
