Manchester United have accelerated a move for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo.
After clinching a deal for Matheus Cunha at the start of the month, Manchester United immediately turned attentions towards Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo.
The deal for Mbeumo had stalled amid Brentford’s demands, but Manchester United have been working on getting the move over the line.
Last week, United In Focus reported Manchester United were determined to get a deal done by the end of June.

New bid in for Bryan Mbeumo
Manchester United have now submitted a second bid for Bryan Mbeumo, United In Focus understands.
Transfer insider Graeme Bailey reports Manchester United’s offer is worth more than £60 million in total.
United believe the deal is ‘very close’ to being done and remain determined to get it closed by the end of the month.
There will be a few days after that before United return to pre-season in the second week of July. The club’s first pre-season game is on July 19.

Getting both deals for Cunha and Mbeumo done in June would be a big statement from United, who failed to get a deal done before July in both of the past two seasons.

Bryan Mbeumo deal lifts Manchester United
Mbeumo was one of the best performing players in the Premier League last season, racking up impressive figures.
Adding Bryan Mbeumo is part of Manchester United’s plan to transform the attack, with the forward scoring 20 goals and providing 8 assists for Brentford last season.
Mbeumo can play in multiple roles and crucially he is durable, starting all 38 games for Brentford last season.
Amid interest from rival clubs, Mbeumo is keen to join Manchester United, and this should mean personal terms are completed without a hitch.
Brentford are already working on signing a replacement. Manchester United will face Brentford away from home in the sixth game of the season.
