Everton’s divisive new third kit for the 2025/26 season appears to have been leaked online.
Everton’s brand new third kit for the upcoming 2025/26 Premier League season appears to have been revealed by a leak online – and it’s been described as a “very Marmite” jersey by the person who leaked it.
Although no pictures of the shirt are available as yet, an Everton fan and kit collector claims to have seen it and suggested that it confirmed a previous leak which showed graphics of the new season’s jerseys.
Leaks of Everton’s new home and away kits for the coming campaign have also backed up the leak as a whole, suggesting that we now know what the shirt will look like even as we wait for photographs and the official release.
What Everton’s new third kit for 2025/26 will look like
The social media post above shows part of the digital graphic of the new shirt, which seems to have been confirmed as accurate based on leaks of the other kits and comments made by X user Luke, who has also leaked details of previous Everton jerseys. As seen in the image, the shirt will be black with a number of different pattern elements across it in, picked out in blue and yellow and ranging from angled stripes to wavy lines.
The Castore shirt will also be the only Everton shirt this season to feature the club’s alternate tower crest, which will be picked out in white alongside the manufacturer and sponsors’ logos. The shorts will be plain black, with yellow and blue trim again appearing on the socks.
The kit’s colour scheme appears to be identical to the goalkeeper jersey from the 2021/22 season, when Hummel were the kit manufacturer. According to Footy Headlines, the third kit is set to be officially revealed and released in July, which is when we also expect the away kit to emerge.
Mixed response to unusual new shirt
Luke warned on social media after seeing the shirt that he expected it to be “very Marmite” – meaning that while some supporters will enjoy it, others will dislike it intensely, referencing the yeast extract brand’s famous “love it or hate it” marketing campaigns.
Based on the initial response to the leak on social media, he appears to be right. While some fans responses included “I like it” and a simple comment that it was “great”, others are rather less enamoured, with FollowEverton’s account describing it as “awful” while another fan replied to posts with a crying emoji.
The kit does at least to be going down better than the home kit, which drew largely negative reactions, in particular to the wavy blue lines which run across the front of the shirt. The away jersey, a cleaner white design with blue and yellow trim, was more warmly received.
Whether you’re a fan of the new shirt or not, we now finally have a clear idea of what all three of Everton’s kits will look like next season as the team prepare for their first campaign in the brand new Bramley Moore Dock stadium – and for the first full season under their new owners.
