Report: Juventus, Nottingham Forest agree to deal with Tim Weah

Tim Weah could possibly be headed to England to play in the Premier League. According to a report by ESPN’s Matteo Moretto, Juventus has reached a deal with Nottingham Forest to acquire the 25-year-old USMNT winger. Sky Sports’ Gianluca Di Marzio was one of the first to report on the potential transfer.

Weah arrived at Juventus in 2023 from Lille, and he has partnered with fellow USMNT teammate Weston McKennie for two seasons. Weah has 7 goals and 6 assists in 78 appearances across all competitions for the Bianconeri. The report states that Forest are looking to add both Weah and Samuel Mbangula during this summer transfer window, with a transfer deal in the neighborhood of €22 million agreed upon for the two players. The deal still requires both players to agree to personal terms.

Weah is currently with Juventus at the FIFA Club World Cup, where he appeared in their first match, a 5-0 victory over Al Ain. In a move to Nottingham Forest, Weah would join a team that finished 7th in the Premier League last season and will be competing in the UEFA Conference League this coming season, their first European competition in 29 years.
