Tyrese Haliburton’s Girlfriend Jade Jones Breaks Silence on His NBA Finals Injury

Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton may have suffered a heartbreaking injury during Game 7 of the NBA Finals, but he’s not going through it alone.

On Monday, his longtime girlfriend Jade Jones shared an emotional message on Instagram, offering support following the devastating end to the Pacers’ historic season.

Jones, who has been with Haliburton for six years, was courtside during Game 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. She later posted a heartfelt tribute along with photos from the night, including one where she's seen embracing him.

“What a year!!! What a bittersweet ending to it all,” she wrote. “This team is SO special, beyond words. You have made a historic run for the Pacers that generations will be talking about!!!”

Haliburton, who tore his right Achilles tendon in the first quarter of Sunday’s Finals game against the Thunder, is expected to miss the entire 2025–26 NBA season, according to ESPN.

The injury occurred just minutes into the game, which had started as a standout performance for Haliburton. Before falling, he had scored nine points on three long-range shots from beyond the arc.

Haliburton’s injury came as a huge blow to the Pacers, who went on to lose the game 103-91. After he was helped off the court and taken to the locker room, he didn’t stay hidden.

Despite being in visible pain and using crutches, Haliburton returned to the tunnel to greet and support his teammates as they came off the court.

In her message, Jones praised Haliburton’s impact not only as a player but also as a leader.

“The smile you have put on people’s faces, the joy & excitement you have brought to this city. You have been nothing short of amazing. You are so selfless, brave, and strong!”

Her post made it clear how much this season meant to both of them.

“This season has made such a special imprint on my heart,” she added. “One of the best things we have ever been a part of!!!”

Jones ended her message with words of encouragement, expressing her faith in Haliburton’s recovery. “We will be back, we’re not finished yet! God’s plan, God’s timing 💛 My superstar, I love you.”

Haliburton’s injury marks a tough ending to an incredible playoff run, but with support from loved ones like Jones and the Pacers’ fanbase, he’s not facing this road to recovery alone.
