New Photo Shows Tyrese Haliburton's Pain After NBA Finals Exit

Tyrese Haliburton's 2025 NBA Finals run ended on a heartbreaking note. Not only did the Indiana Pacers lose the do-or-die Game 7 on Sunday, but the playmaker himself was not able to finish the game due to a serious injury.

Haliburton played just seven minutes in the contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder after suffering an Achilles injury in the first quarter. A slow-motion replay of his injury moment showed something snapping in his right leg, causing him to fall and wince in pain.

The 25-year-old guard was quickly brought to the locker room to get checked before being ruled out for the rest of the game.

It has since been reported that Haliburton has sustained a torn right Achilles tendon, although an official timeline for his recovery has yet to be revealed.

Amid the unpleasant development, Haliburton's girlfriend, Jade Jones, sent a supportive message to her partner. On her Instagram Stories, she wrote, "every step of the way."

Jones added, "a run we will remember for a long time. you are so amazing!"

What stood out from Jones' post, however, was the photo she shared. It showed Haliburton in the locker room, sitting with both his hands were on his face — clearly emotional and in pain.

Jones was also in the photo, sitting in front of Haliburton while touching his legs and simply being there for him.

In another Instagram post, Jade Jones shared an emotional message to reflect on Tyrese Haliburton's journey. She also made sure to emphasize that she and the rest of the Pacers will be in full support of the All-Star guard as he starts his recovery journey.

"You are so selfless, brave, and strong!" Jones said. "We have the best support system around us who will pull you through this! I will always be your biggest cheerleader. I will forever be so proud of you!! Our team’s got you. We will be back, we’re not finished yet! Gods plan, Gods timing. My superstar, I love you."

It remains to be seen how long Haliburton will need to get back to NBA action, but there's a chance he could miss the entire 2025-26 season.
