Report: PSG slams door shut on Bayern Munich interest in Bradley Barcola

Bayern Munich’s desired move for French winger Bradley Barcola looks dead in the water, just like most of its other pursuits for a new left wing in the summer transfer window to date.

From L’Équipe, as captured by @iMiaSanMia:

Luis Enrique in person has closed the door to any potential Bradley Barcola move. Bayern and Chelsea have made attractive offers for the French winger, but PSG are unwilling to listen or negotiate. Barcola also has no desire to leave Paris as long as the competition for spots is healthy [@lequipe]

Additionally via L’Équipe as captured by @iMiaSanMia:

Barcola was surprised when PSG signed Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in January and asked for explanation from the club. PSG told him that it was nothing against him and that Luis Enrique simply wanted more attacking options after Asensio, Lee and Kolo Muani all failed to impress - they assured him that he was an important player for the coach and that he will still get his playing time. Barcola was reassured and decided to take on the competition. Now despite Bayern’s serious interest, he has no desire to leave. He has a good relationship with the other attacking players - and Luis Enrique’s rotation makes sure that everyone’s having a role. The door to a departure is closed both from the club and from the player [@lequipe]

But as the saying goes: ‘Ceci n’est pas une pipe’ — ?
