* The Mystics are coming off a dramatic overtime win versus Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings. Rookie Sonia Citron led the charge with career highs in both points (27) and rebounds (11), and she hit the go-ahead shot late in overtime.
* The Mystics are 6-8 and in playoff position as the standings currently are. Unfortunately, a date with probable MVP Napheesa Collier and the 12-1 Minnesota Lynx is a beatdown waiting to happen.
* If Collier sits out (a possibility given the two-game cushion the Lynx have earned over the no. 2 seed New York Liberty), the Mystics have a chance for their statement win of the season.
