Arsenal can secure Rodrygo Real Madrid transfer deal with£106.5m cash injection

Mikel Arteta's squad should have a fresh look about it by the time Arsenal start their Premier League campaign at Manchester United in August. Incomings are a must for Andrea Berta and the club in the weeks ahead as they bid to get their hands on the Premier League title.

Arsenal are set to strengthen their midfield with the addition of Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad. The Gunners will then bring in a proven goalscorer to lead the line, with Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres on their radar following their exploits at RB Leipzig and Sporting CP respectively.

Real Madrid ace Rodrygo has also been linked with a move to Arsenal as the club attempt to upgrade their options in the final third. As is the case with the aforementioned players, the Brazilian would cost a sizeable fee and a deal in excess of £70million could be required in order to seal an agreement between the clubs.

What will help Arsenal when it comes to bringing in a new winger this summer is adding money to the club's transfer kitty with transfer outgoings. football.london takes a look at six possible exits and how much the Gunners could raise - using Transfermarkt's player values - ahead of the summer transfer window closing for business.

Oleksandr Zinchenko

Oleksandr Zinchenko looks to be on his way out of the Emirates Stadium this summer after falling down the pecking order. The Ukrainian was limited in terms of his minutes last season and has been linked with Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Arsenal will still be able to bring in a decent fee for the ex-Manchester City man, with Transfermarkt valuing him at £17million.

Gabriel Martinelli

Could Gabriel Martinelli be heading for the Allianz Arena this summer? German publication Bild report that Bayern Munich are having discussions over a potential move for the Brazilian.

Signed for £6million in 2019, Arsenal stand to make a good profit on their player if he is to bid farewell as he is valued at £47million. However, they could maybe get a little bit more for him given his age and the attributes he possesses.

Karl Hein

Karl Hein will return to Arsenal with plenty of experience to his name after a season-long loan spell in Spain with Real Valladolid. It unfortunately doesn't look like the shot-stopper will provide cover for David Raya, though, as Kepa Arrizabalaga looks set to make the move from Chelsea.

A permanent move for the Estonian could be on the cards given his current deal expires in the summer of 2026. Transfermarkt value him at £2.5million, although the Gunners could probably secure a better deal considering the first-team experience he picked up in La Liga.

Fabio Vieira

Fabio Viera's time at Arsenal has just not gone to plan and it wasn't a shock to see him return to former club Porto on loan last season. It's a transfer which unfortunately hasn't worked out and he may move on for good in the summer months.

He is valued at £19million, which is a significant drop from the £34.2million Arsenal shelled out three years ago.

Albert Sambi Lokonga

Sevilla have the option in their loan agreement with Arsenal to sign Albert Sambi Lokonga on a permanent basis for £10million. However, the player has already admitted that the Spanish side will not be buying him for that price, meaning Arsenal will have to sell him for less money given he will soon enter the final year of his contract.

Transfermarkt value him at £7million.

Reiss Nelson

Reiss Nelson only played in 13 games for Fulham last season following a torrid time through injury at Craven Cottage. Unfortunately his lack of football since December hasn't really put him in the shop window ahead of a huge summer in his career.

Arsenal will still have options for Nelson, who is valued at £14million. A permanent move is the best thing for the 25-year-old as he needs to be playing regularly given his age.

Grand total for six player sales = £106.5m
